Welcome to the
Olfactory Image Archive

October Update - This month several circuit diagrams were updated to include more detail...the old diagrams were removed.
Coming soon 'Mail a Mouse' - send  greeting e-cards of select images from the site.

The goal of this archive is to make a collection of images related to the olfactory system available for neuroscience researchers, teachers, students and interested members of the public.  Submissions of your own images to the archive are strongly encouraged (refer to the Submit page for further information on that process).

 

The images contained here are divided into Anatomical, Histological, Diagrams, Animations, Humorous, and miscellaneous image in Other.  The default resolution for the images is 800x600 (jpg optimized for medium file size) suitable for presentations.  .

 

All images in the archive remain the sole copyright of the indicated author.  These images may be used in seminar presentations and for teaching without specific permission from the copyright holder.  All other uses including commercial gain, print publication, or web publication requires the written permission of the copyright holder (refer to the Legal page for more information).  We ask that all use of images from this archive be attributed both to the author, copyright holder, and this archive (for example:

Copyright John Doe (2003),

or for published works

Doe et al (2003) "The published works of John Doe".
